A warm welcome to our new starters in 2026! The office have been in touch to confirm places and let you know about our induction process. Please reply and complete the form as soon as possible.
We are looking forward to seeing parents/carers on Thursday 11th June at 6pm (this initial meeting is just for adults) and then meeting our new starters on Thursday 2nd July at 1.45pm – 3pm for the induction afternoon. Children stay with parents and carers and we will have chance to meet you and play some games too, hopefully on our large field. You will also be able to take away your buddy letter/s at the end of the afternoon.
Please ensure you have signed up to Seesaw as we will contact you through this and also send links and information for you and your child. Mrs Bradley or Mrs Bowman in the office will be able to help you if there are any problems. Don’t forget to keep checking regularly – we will share a link with our virtual book for you to see what our school and classroom, and the grown ups, all look like. We will also share a link to a virtual story time book, where the grown ups will be reading stories for you to enjoy.
We have found some documents and links that you may find useful. We can’t wait to meet you and get to know you and your child.
There is also some more information here about preparing your child to start school.
You can also use the link here to find out more information from Lancashire Healthy Young people and Families Service.
There is also lots of new information from the government Best Start in Life initiative and you can find the information here.
If you need to contact us you can do so via the school office 01772 743131.
