‘Love one another as I have loved you’. John 13:34
We aim to serve members of our local school community, wider community and the global community. Our work to support charities is underpinned by the Christian values of love, compassion and service. Some examples of our work can be seen below:
Tippy Toes
As part of our Christian mission serving the local community, we periodically collect for the ‘Tippy Toes’ charity. We are delighted to work with Sue Wade, the founder of the charity and ex-parent of Cop Lane. Tippy Toes is working with local families, who are in urgent need of baby essentials. More recently, we worked with Tippy Toes to collect toiletries, blankets and warm clothing for the people of Ukraine. The response from our parent community was fantastic.
Penwortham Food Bank

Pencott, Uganda
The school has re-established its link with Pencott in Uganda. The name was created through two churches (Penwortham and Cottam) c0ming together to provide help and support to children in Uganda. We have re-established a relationship with the charity since Covid-19 helping the children to receive an education in a different continent in the world. In the past we have provided support for a teacher, breakfast for the children and a classroom and toilet block. All of these we take for granted. Our continued support will enable Pencott to continue to develop and provide for its people but also help our children learn about life in a different country. Through the link, we hope to develop our global awareness and understanding.
