We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England School and value greatly our link with St. Mary’s Parish Church in Penwortham. The Vicar, the Rev. Christopher Nelson, is a member of the governing body and regular visitor to the school. Our junior classes visit St Mary’s Church once a term for a ‘Ministry of the Word’ service. The church newsletter is sent out once a month with the school newsletter.

Reverend Nelson is a regular visitor to our school. He regularly leads whole school worship as well as the termly KS2 ‘Ministry of the Word’ services at St Mary’s Church.
